Oak Class - Year 6
Welcome to Year 6!
Year 6 is a very important year, helping our pupils prepare for their move to secondary school. We are excited to learn about a range of texts in English and learn efficient and effective maths strategies. This year we will take part in trips linked to our year 6 curriculum and are excited to make this the best year of our pupils educational career so far!
More information about each half term and our curriculum coverage can be found on the year 6 newsletters below, if you would like a printed copy you are welcome to request one via the school office.
Please remember that long hair must be tied up or out of children's faces. For PE lessons no jewellery should be worn and that we are a nut free school.
If you have any questions please contact me via the school office or via email firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your support

Our amazing topic projects from November- Ancient Greeks!
We worked on topic projects over a few weeks including October half term and the outcomes were amazing! We had a wide range of exciting models, presentations and creative art pieces. We shared our pieces with each other and then went to year 5 and saw theirs and shared ours again.
Here are a few of them!

The subjects that we cover include: English, mathematics, science, art and design, citizenship, computing, design and technology, geography, history, languages (Italian), music and physical education.
