Admissions 

Children are eligible to join our friendly nursery class the term after their third birthday.

Nursery children start at the beginning of term in September, January or April. Applications are made directly through the school and are subject to availability. Find out more here.

RECEPTION

Applications for a Reception place are handled by Oxfordshire County Council. To apply for a place at West Oxford Community Primary School, you must submit an application via the council website by mid January in the calendar year in which your child should start school. Online applications open in November of the preceding school year. Places are allocated in April.  Please note, all admissions decisions are made by Oxfordshire County Council, not the school.

TRANSFERS & IN YEAR ADMISSIONS

Places are sometimes available in other year groups for children moving to Oxford or changing school – please contact the school office on 01865 248862 or email admissions@westoxfordschool.co.uk to enquire about in-year availability and admission. We aim to accommodate children wherever possible.
